Oh my! The first version alone had some pretty well drawn sketches, and for 3 days was decent at least but the added polish in the update really is an upgrade. I look forward to continuations!
I'm so glad to hear that you intend on improving upon this. I really did enjoy this simple proof of concept, and it's so rare for a game Jam entry to actually be improved upon, so this is a very pleasant surprise.
I would suggest that the reward per baby be capped at some value, while the passive income have a cost that increases with every purchase. Even if it is just +1 cost per level, it would prevent the run-away growth that's possible. And capping the value per baby is just for logical consistency: no matter how healthy the baby is, it doesn't make any sense that someone would pay 10k each when they start out at so much less than that.
As it is, I spent all of my cash from the first birth on passive income, continued to level that until it was decently high, then spent the rest on baby value until the second birth, then immediately dumped all of the cash from that birth into guaranteed embryos, spent all of my passive income during the third pregnancy upgrading baby value, and then got so much money from the 3rd birth that I saw no reason to keep playing, as it would take a few minutes to spend all of the cash I got from that birth.
Quite fun, and definitely something there, but it needs a balance pass.
Fairly good for what is there. Parroting that income upgrades breaks the game's little progression. There probably should be passive income and money awarded on birth, but it should be capped.
Think monetary income should be mostly relegated to a few mini-games.
The "game"? It's actually pretty good for something made in 3 days, specially with the art it has (i genuinely love it) the only issue i have with it is the fact that well...a pretty obvious thing some people have shown you already and that's the passive income upgrade and it can lead to things like THIS :
Shop pricings could do with some looking over and, as Yttreia mentioned, a scaling cost increase on the passive income and/or a maximum to it and the credits per baby could solve the infinite money scaling problem. Either way, it's got promise.

Yep, joining the others here, the income-related upgrades are OP as hell, definitely needs to have costs scale upward as you buy more of them, AND outpace whatever income they give so you don't get exponential growth. Just going off the passive upgrade, you can start getting infinite money about halfway through the second pregnancy, which is kinda bananas.
As for other comments about it so far:
I like it overall, kinda feels like a really condensed version of an old Flash game I used to play a lot.
Needs more things to do so we're not sitting here clicking Rest again and again and again and again, especially on the first pregnancy, where literally-literally all you can do is click Rest 21 times and that's it. Maybe the first pregnancy can start and progress a little in the intro cutscene, so the first round is only like 10 days, rather than the full 21?
Maybe needs other upgrades? You'd have a couple other stats, like skin elasticity and milk production, there would be shots for these. Skin elasticity allows her to handle larger pregnancies as kind of a cap in size. For milk production, depending on how much milk you make, if you make enough for the babies, everything's fine, but not making enough gets you a percent decrease in profit from the pregnancy (not a huge decrease though.)
While some hyper preg surrogate room-filling fun is good and all, what if there was a mode seperate from the main game where you had to moreso manage her size or risk destroying the station
WOO! You really knocked it out of the park, which is superb considering you did it in such a short amount of time! It shows that you know what's important to focus on in this kind of thing :)
Nicely done. I see you're aware of the credit scaling issue (personally I had more than I could spend by the end of cycle 4). As a suggestion, if you increase the price for each successive upgrade (even just by 1 credit at a time) that should flatten out the growth curve a lot.
The game is pretty fun, and Jess is a pretty nice looking character and her art is great even if unfinished. Thought i have a small question, will it be possible in future to maybe.. play with Dr Zyga?

I really liked the concept, and I hope in the future you are more character belly sizes and maybe even lactation would be cool maybe even character dialogue corresponding to their pregnancy stage and size and a toggle button for clothes

Thanks! I do agree that the growth is too exponential, I was mainly preoocupied with getting the game somewhat presentable in time for the Game Jam so balance kinda became an afterthought. Bigger sizes is definetly something ive considered for the future

Why doesn't jess get bigger then this the bar gets farther but she doesn't get bigger

I got the babies in her to level 10 and i felt so bad with how big she got i just had to get it to 100 to see if if got funnier.
